Auditions

I never know what to specifically search for on google. You'll always end up getting sites that will list auditions that you can "send a request for" - no guarantee that you'll get a bite. OH not to mention they charge you not for joining the site, but the only way you can see a blasted thing is if you pay for premium membership where you can view EVERYTHING.. only $39.99 a month... for diddly. yea, no thank you.
But I guess it's understandable that it's not the easiest thing to get a bite.. I mean, it's kind of like when I worked at coldstone and we had JUST closed- you get people knocking on the door "can we come in?" ... "nnooo.. doors locked should have been your first clue.." And then we toss a gummi bear out the door to see how many people flock to it like sea gulls..
-back to the point.. it's like that. If everyone knew they'd be tossing gummi bears out they'd ALL flock to it, and it'd be harder to pick out who's right for the position. Does that analogy make sense? Meh, it was amusing to write.

SO - really I just google stuff like "open call" .. or "casting agency for philly area" .. sometimes you get a hit where they're currently casting for this or that- and they'll give you an address. Mail your resume there. If you want a good resume- I mean I could tell you exactly what to put on there (a good resume) -but 10 million others actually update a photo of resumes- or res photos..   go look for one. it's not hard. (speaking of which I got to get new ones)

Goodluck to you - new or experienced..  you really want it you'll get there.
